BIG Solo Trip 2016: Iloilo

A day after my Bacolod Solo Trip (March 30, 2016), I went to my second solo trip destination, Iloilo City! By the way, I had a courage to went solo trip to these places because somehow I can understand the dialect, Ilonggo (I am half Ilongga). So it's not that hard for me to communicate with the locals. But whether you can't speak or understand their dialect, Ilonggos are so warm and hospitable and they are willing to help like if you're asking directions. And their very sweet accent that added to the charm of the place :)

It was my first time to go in Iloilo. It's 1.5 hour away from Bacolod City via fast ferry. I had a itinerary list of places where I can stroll around the province.

BIG Solo Trip 2016: Bacolod City

It's been a year since my first ever B-I-G (Bacolod-Iloilo-Guimaras) solo trip. Pardon me if this is a late post already. Hahaha. (Lazy bones here, hahaha)

I've been in Bacolod like nth time. It's just an hour away from La Carlota City, my mother's hometown. Last 2016, I went there for Holy week vacation. It's also an anticipated trip because it was my first solo trip, (and of course, my mother didn't know, haha).

I miss my long hair :(

Batangas 2016: Mt. Pinagbanderahan (Gulugod-Baboy)

Early this year, I started my travel journey in hiking at Mt. Gulugod-baboy (Mt. Pinagbanderahan) in Mabini, Batangas. I am sorry but I am not a big fan of hiking really. But I don't know what kind of spell that my colleague did to convince me to go with them. Hahaha.

Journey in Japan 2015

It's been almost a year since I went to Japan. Even today, my memories are still clear. Every places I've been, every food I've tasted, every people I've met. Everything! Until now, I just can't imagine I set my foot in everyone's dream destination. And I am so blessed that Japan is my first ever country I visited. :)

In this post, I want to summarize (and reminisce) my journey in this beautiful country. :)

Japan 2015 Series: Fukui

Summer is one of my favorite season of the year. I am lucky to experienced this twice last 2015. In Japan, summer season begins from last week of June to August (if I'm not mistaken). I am so glad the the MG group invited me to their Fukui trip!

We slept over in Kuya Roger and Ate Annabel's house. We woke up early and we are ready for beach! It took 2 hours drive from Omihachiman to Fukui.

Mostly, the beaches in the Philippines have nipa huts or cottages whether private resorts or public beaches. Unlike in Japan, they do pitch tent and set up big umbrellas with folding chairs!
