Negros Occidental 2014: Mambukal Hot Spring Resort

(Super soooryy for the late post, it's been a while, tamad lang ang peg, hihihi :) )

After full packed lunch in Manokan Country (best Inasal in the world), we headed to Mambukal Hotspring Resort located at Mucia, Negros Occidental. Just less than 30 minutes from Bacolod City proper.

We passed by in two trees meets in the middle of the road, looks like an arc. hehehe

We arrived at Mambukal Resort around 2:00pm and paid P50 per head :)

Boiling mud.
Since it's Easter Sunday when we went there, oh yes. Swimming pools and little falls are full of guest. hehe

We walked around looking for a vacant cottage and we went to Bat Sanctuary and Grotto. Luckily,  there's a mono block table and chairs.  whew!

After an hour, we decided to hike and see the resort's famous falls. We register our names and the resort give us a tour guide. :)

Our guide advised us to leave because it's getting dark already.

Stunning sunset.

This is Kuya tour guide number 08. (Sorry, I can't remember his name).

If you're a fan of hiking, you should try to get up to 7th falls :) But like us who are soo lazy, we're contented til 4th falls only. hahaha!

How to get there:
From Bacolod to Mambukal Mountain Resort is a 35-minute drive by private car passing through Murcia town.
Public utility vehicles are located at the northwestern side of the Libertad Public Market. Jeepney trips to Mambukal start at 7:20 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Fare is about Php30 per person.
