Batangas 2016: Mt. Pinagbanderahan (Gulugod-Baboy)

Early this year, I started my travel journey in hiking at Mt. Gulugod-baboy (Mt. Pinagbanderahan) in Mabini, Batangas. I am sorry but I am not a big fan of hiking really. But I don't know what kind of spell that my colleague did to convince me to go with them. Hahaha.

Journey in Japan 2015

It's been almost a year since I went to Japan. Even today, my memories are still clear. Every places I've been, every food I've tasted, every people I've met. Everything! Until now, I just can't imagine I set my foot in everyone's dream destination. And I am so blessed that Japan is my first ever country I visited. :)

In this post, I want to summarize (and reminisce) my journey in this beautiful country. :)

Japan 2015 Series: Fukui

Summer is one of my favorite season of the year. I am lucky to experienced this twice last 2015. In Japan, summer season begins from last week of June to August (if I'm not mistaken). I am so glad the the MG group invited me to their Fukui trip!

We slept over in Kuya Roger and Ate Annabel's house. We woke up early and we are ready for beach! It took 2 hours drive from Omihachiman to Fukui.

Mostly, the beaches in the Philippines have nipa huts or cottages whether private resorts or public beaches. Unlike in Japan, they do pitch tent and set up big umbrellas with folding chairs!

Japan 2015 Series: Kyoto

Kyoto is one of my favorite tourist spot in Japan. I saw some Filipino celebrities posted on their IG account the famous Fushimi-Inari Taisha. I just told myself before that when I go to Japan, I will surely visit the Shrine. And when I had the chance to go to Japan last 2015, I finally set my foot in this amazing place.

Japan 2015 Series: Nara Park

At last, my series Japan blog post is activated. Hahaha! This past few months, I’ve been through a lot of stuffs. Back logs pa more. Hahaha! Well, here’s my Nara Park photo blog.

Nara Park (奈良公園 Nara Kōen?) is a public park located in the city of Nara, Japan, at the foot of Mount Wakakusa, established in 1880. Administratively, the park is under the control of Nara Prefecture. The park is one of the "Places of Scenic Beauty" designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Over 1,200 wildsika deer (シカ or 鹿 shika) freely roaming around in the park are also under designation of MEXT, classified as natural treasure. While the official size of the park is about 502 hectare, the area including the grounds of Tōdai-ji, Kōfuku-ji, andKasuga Shrine, which are either on the edge or surrounded by Nara Park, is as large as 660 ha. We rode train going to Kyoto then another train to Nara. It was the first time I rode train in Japan. Hahaha! It was amazing! 
