Pangasinan 2013: Bolinao

This year, I have a lot of bills to pay that's why I choose not to travel far from metro. :( We decided to have a short (weekend) vacation in the north and we chose Bolinao Pangasinan :)

Our Bolinao trip with my friends didn't push through last March (and went to Calaguas instead) and we already made a reservation in SCL Garden Paradise Resort in Bolinao, and I used it for our weekend trip last July :) hahahaha! Here's Mam Beth's (Owner of Resort, she is so accommodating!) contact number  0906-5878155 and Ate Ruth (She is sooooo nice too :) ) 0921-4117938. I highly recommend this resort :)

We left from Five Star Bus Terminal in Pasay at 9:30pm, Friday night and will travel for more or less 6 hours going to Bolinao. By the way, Five Star Bus Terminal has a trip to Bolinao Daily :) You may check their WEBSITE for your inquiries :)

Here are some photos and let them feed your eyes of beautiful and amazing place of Bolinao :)

Our bus ticket :)

We arrived at 3:00am of Saturday, we fetched by Kuya Jun, a tricycle driver in Bolinao which I contacted and hired for our tour (my bad, I lost his mobile number :( ). We traveled 30 mins going to our resort. Some resorts and hotels are located in Patar Road which you can reach via tricycle for more or less 30 mins. (Little exhausting right?) Even we are exhausted and tired because of 6 hour travel, we greeted by Ate Ruth with a BIG SMILE ( she's just woke up to welcome us and lead us to our room, so sweet :) ). When our room was ready, we don't waste our time (or even change our clothes) and make our self comfortable and sleep :) hahaha!

I woke up first at 6:00am and went to beach. By the way, SCL Garden Resort is a beachfront resort. :) I took few photos within the resort and it's beach shore :)

Fountain :)

SCL Resort made a "Balsa" where tied along the coast. You can use it for free (for resort guest only). It may rented to outsider costing P200 :)

Clear water :)

Resort's staff cleaning the seaweeds along the sea shore :)
Since we didn't bought our food earlier that day, we went first to market in town to buy some meat, rice, hotdog and snacks. You may use the resort's kitchen facilities and utensils to cook your food. You can ask also Ate Ruth to cook for you if you are like "lazy" to prepare your food, but of course, you should pay (naman). :) After we bought our "raw" food, we went back to resort and ask Ate Ruth to keep our food in refrigerator (meat and hotdog) :) She's super nice :)

First stop, the Wonderful Cave. :) I am not a fan of caves and I think I will never be involve in cave spelunking activity because I have fear in small spaces (Claustrophobia). But I can't help myself to see the cave :) And I was so amazed on what I witnessed :)

Entrance going to cave :)

Look at that clear water :)
When I took dip on my feet, it's sooooo cold! The caretaker said we should try to take a dip into the water. At first I hesitated to do but suddenly.........

Oh db? hahahaha!

After couple of minutes in Wonderful Cave, we went back to Kuya Jun and depart to Cape Bolinao Lighthouse :)

Then we off to Patar beach :)

Since the waves are huge, I stay on the seashore though I am a swimmer :) It's better to be safe than sorry :)

We went back to resort to prepare our lunch :) After we eat our lunch, we just sleep and woke up 7pm and took our dinner (our lunch left over) hahaha! Since we don't have TV on our room, we just listen to mp3 song on our phone and fall asleep :)

On next morning, we just go beach bumming and took pictures (as if a photoshoot) :)

We took our lunch after that photoshoot (hahaha) and prepare to go home :( When we reach the town, I make it to point that I visited St. James Church of Bolinao :)

Tourism board guide  in Five Star Terminal :)

When we reached Alaminos, a lady offered me to try tupig free taste :) So delicious! I bought 2 sets cost P50. :)

Bolinao is so amazing place :) I shall return :) hahaha!

Travel Date : July 12-13 2013
