Japan 2015 Series: My Epic Arrival

It took a while to post my Japan trip. Honestly, I have no idea how to start, how to categorize etcc… (excuses, hihi) Here it goes :)

I couldn’t imagine that a simple, corporate employee/slave (charot) who earns only more or less 15k, and  few debts (credit card, housing loan etc.) like me had a chance to travel in Japan, hihihi. I am lucky that surrounded by loving and generous people whom treated me like their own family. I will take this opportunity to thank the family who helped me with the documents and opened their beautiful house for me to stay in Japan for 15 days, Mizutani Family, and to those people I met and became my friends.

And the highlight, it’s my first time to travel abroad! Yey!

Bataan 2015: Morong Bataan

Hello 2015 :)

New Year. New Life. MORE TRAVEL! Yey! :)

My first travel for 2015 last January was in Bataan. Actually, it's unexpected trip. We're just looked for a quick beach getaway to unwind (oh yes, because of work! work! work! ugh!) :) Week before our planned trip, I was looking for a affordable yet cozy and homey beach resort. I found Victoria Vista Bay Resort. I booked a room for 2 for P1,500 only :)

Talisay City, Negros Occidental 2014 : The RUINS

The Ruins is the most visited tourist spot and must-see in Negros now. They called it as "Taj Mahal of Negros" because the story behind is almost like the story of Taj Mahal of India. It was renovated and restored and turned into one of the tourist spot in Negros.

Sagay City, Negros Occidental 2014 : Carbin Reef

The last time I've been in La Carlota Negros Occidental, my mother's home town and I grew up for almost 6 years (from 1990-1996) was 2006. For almost 8 years, finally! I'm back!

I had a lot of childhood memories in that place. I bonded with my Lola (which I am certified Lola's girl) :) Last holy week of 2014, we decided to visit my Lola, she's already 84 years old and very very strong :) We arrived last Maundy Thursday, rest until Good Friday to observed the essence of Holy week :) We decided to go to Sagay City, particularly in Carbin Reef. I did research beforehand and booked our tour in Sagay City Tourism office for the tour. :)

We left La Carlota at 6am last April 19. We took a Ceres Bus to Bacolod. Since the road was under repair, we took 1.5 hours to Bacolod, instead 45 mins normally :)
